In the popular and democratic Republic of Bubunne, women are the ones in power. They lead and go to war, while the men have to cover themselves up and be in charge of the household. One of them, Jacky, a 20-year-old boy, has the same unattainable dream than all the other bachelors of his country : to marry the Colonel ; the daughter of the dictator ; and to have a lot of little girls with her. But when the General finally decides to organize a ball to find a husband for her daughter, things get worse for Jacky : abused by his step- family, he sees his dream gradually slip through his fingers...
